Update regarding Covid-19

With the continued spread of coronavirus, Telia Carrier is carefully monitoring the situation and remains focused on maintaining the health and safety of our employees, customers, and suppliers. Our Crisis Management teams globally and within each of our operating countries have well-established plans that have been put into place and we are prepared for any potential impact to our network or operations. 

As previously communicated, we have implemented several precautionary measures to help protect our employees, customers, partners and the wider communities in which they operate. These measures remain in place:

•    Strong recommendation to work from home for all employees, provided that it does not affect our customers and services

•    A blanket restriction on business travel

Our primary focus is to maintain operations and a sufficient level of network capacity to handle unexpected hikes in traffic, safeguarding global communications as a whole. We are taking a number of important steps to secure service continuity, including working with equipment vendors, field teams and colocation housing partners to make sure we can continue to expand, as well as maintain the network as volumes continue their unprecedented growth.

Please rest assured we are staying focused during these trying times, and that supporting our customers’ needs and the integrity and operation of the Internet is pivotal to us.
